Old exams and other material
The old exams are not "practice exams." They are the actual exams that were given in the past. What material was covered on which exam may have changed. Futhermore, the answers provided (when they are provided) may not be sufficiently complete and detailed to receive full credit. For example, OMIM is "Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man," a database of human genetic diseases and the genes responsible. The answer key might just say "Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man," but you would have to say what that is (a database of diseases) to get full credit. Review of the old exams is probably a good idea, but it is no substitute for reading the book!
