Undergraduate Advising
All Faculty of the Department of Cell Biology and Molecular
Genetics participate as undergraduate advisors.
Our Advising Program is a part of the College of Life Sciences
mandatory advising program. All Faculty of the Department of
Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics participate as advisors.
Students are assigned to advisors in
Three Phases:
Phase 1: Freshman Advising
Students are advised by specially trained advisors in the College
of Life Sciences.
Phase 2: Major Advising
Once students have completed the
Basic
Biology Program, they are assigned to an advisor in their
major area. CBMG Faculty serve as advisors to students in the
following programs:
Phase 3: Exit/Clearance Advising
Senior year students are assigned to a special advisor who
will review with the student the plan for graduation and complete
a senior audit.

information in Testudo or call the CBMG Undergraduate Office.
Each semester prior to the start of Pre-registration, advisors
will contact students with information regarding the advising
appointment.
